This is a three-and-a-half day
certificated course, relevant to managers in hygiene-sensitive
production facilities including those working with, or
developing systems aligned to, one of the British Retail
Consortium Global Standards. It is appropriate for both the
‘designated manager’ (as required by the BRC Global Standards)
and their deputy. The venue will be Pendrell Hall College,
Staffordshire, UK.
Issue 3 of the BRC/IOP
Packaging Standard ("Global Standard for Packaging and
Packaging Materials"), was published this January. The
course deals with the changes to the Standard and how these
will affect the industry.

Issue 3 of the BRC/IOP Global Standard
"For Packaging and Packaging Materials"
was published in January.
Authentica has
prepared a clause-by-clause review of the changes, and an overview
of the effects these are likely to have for a certificated company,
or one working toward certification.
The clauses are dealt with as
'deleted', 'no change', 'revised' or 'new' to allow assessment of
their significance. This review is available on CD ROM at a cost of
£150 plus VAT.
